About the Role

As the Senior Principal, Strategic Consulting, you will serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, guiding them through complex challenges and shaping strategies that advance patient-centered care. You'll lead high-impact engagements, foster long-term partnerships, and drive innovation across the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead the Program Office function from the ground up.
  • Define governance, standards, and best practices for program management.
  • Partner with senior leadership to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee team and ensure delivery of complex, multi-workstream projects.
  • Implement reporting and metrics to track progress and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and Board-level executives.
  • Identify client needs and connect them with the right Press Ganey resources for maximum impact.
  • Direct and mentor engagement teams, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with client objectives.
  • Lead innovation efforts within Consulting, expanding methodologies, tools, and technology.
  • Develop proposals, budgets, and project plans that align with client goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Drive incremental consulting and product sales through strategic relationship-building and integrated solutions.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in executive-level relationship management and strategic advisory.
  • Strong background in experience measurement and management, with expertise in behavioral science practices.
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale client implementations across multiple healthcare business lines.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Significant knowledge of healthcare industry trends, with experience from both provider and health plan perspectives strongly preferred.
  • Prior consulting experience and leader-of-leaders capability strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Flexible to travel nationally up to 75%.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000to $255,000.It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
