The group starts its development with focused analyses that uncover the most impactful solutions to defense and intelligence problems, and then develops those solutions in a fast cycle of experimentation, prototyping, and testing. Our Group has unique access to government intelligence and military users that allows us to quickly gain insights and iterate solutions that get transitioned directly to warfighters and other users. Projects range from the development uncrewed air, ground, surface, and underwater vehicles, to the implementation of tactical military optics and radar systems, investigation of novel communications, innovation of alternative navigation solutions, and integration of autonomous systems. The multi-disciplinary team consists of talented technical staff with expertise in electromagnetics, optics, signal processing (communication, GPS), radio frequency design, statistics, optimization, computer vision, machine learning, autonomous control, software engineering, and embedded systems. Group 107 is seeking a Senior Technician to support a broad set of prototyping efforts within the Group to include the development of novel uncrewed vehicles, integration of various sensor modalities (radio frequency, electro-optical, infrared, and acoustic), chassis design and assembly, and laboratory and field site testing. The candidate will work in an electronics laboratory supporting multiple programs to assist the group in fabrication needs. Duties include, but are not limited to, electronic assembly and wiring from schematics; assembly, test and troubleshooting microwave circuits utilizing the use of electronic test equipment, antenna components, and RF coaxial components; mechanical assembly from drawings and interfacing with machinist and fabrication personnel; the fabrication of small air, ground, and amphibious vehicles to include 3D printing and composite layup; some light to moderate lifting of chassis and equipment with a maximum of 50 pounds; and work under non-laboratory conditions both local Requirements:
