Packing & Shipping Specialist

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Packaging and Shipping Specialist at CMOP Tucson AZ. Join our team as a civilian Packaging and Shipping Specialist and give back to our military community and their families.

Qualifications:

Have three (3) years experience doing work of a similar nature.
• Be able to be cross trained to cover other assigned areas, as needed.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.

Core Duties:

• Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content
• Selection of appropriate type and size of container
• Inserting enclosures in container
• Using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage
• Closing and sealing container
• Applying labels or entering identifying data on container
• Operates various types of packaging equipment
• Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment
• Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts
• Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner
• Supervisory tasks include day to day administration of assigned operational area (production floor) and to coordinate activities with other productions areas.
• Orient new contract technicians and assist with the evaluating performance.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 2 shifts available
  • 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
