A researcher is being sought to support ongoing work to investigate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in rail transportation applications from a strategic visioning perspective. The successful candidate must demonstrate a robust understanding of and experience with AI science, AI
applications in transportation infrastructure, and translating complex scientific topics into easy-to-understand summaries and visuals.

Minimum Education and Experience
The successful applicant must possess a Ph.D. in civil engineering or other related field and demonstrate robust experience with AI applications in transportation and engagement with transit agencies.
