Job Overview

The Coordinator, Corporate Security plays a critical role in supporting overall corporate security, with a focus on the executive protection program. The Coordinator, Corporate Security provides intelligence, risk assessments, and operational support for Central Asset Protection, the Senior Corporate Security and Law Enforcement Liaison, and executive protection agents. The Coordinator, Corporate Security evaluates risks associated with domestic and international travel for corporate executives and assesses threats against senior leadership using open-source information and various investigative tools.

What You Will Do



  • Support the Executive Protection Program at Macy's for designated senior leadership members.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including Executive Protection agents, Central Asset Protection, Executive Assistants for senior leadership, and Business Resiliency partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information related to executive movements and risk assessments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and industry benchmarking to mitigate current threats to senior leadership and anticipate emerging risks.
  • Prepare content for briefings and readouts on the Executive Protection Program for leadership.
  • Maintain detailed records of executive protection activities, incident reports, and security audits.
  • Ensure the Executive Protection Program aligns with company values and security best practices, upholding professionalism and discretion.
  • Establish work strategies and provide insight and decision support for executive protection initiatives.
  • Analyze threats and raise awareness using Asset Protection reports, systems, technology, and open-source intelligence.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.


Skills You Will Need

Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with asset protection colleagues, corporate partners, and executive protection agents.

Analytical Skills: Identify, assess, and communicate threats using information from internal systems, retail and law enforcement networks, and open-source intelligence.

Communication and Execution: Demonstrate strong communication skills, including delivering group presentations; effectively plan, manage, and execute strategies; and monitor workflow to ensure priorities are met.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
