We're hiring a Learning Content Coordinator to join our Rock Island, IL team. This position is a temporary, 6-month assignment.

The Learning Content Coordinator at IMEG is responsible for supporting the development, organization, and maintenance of engaging and effective learning content for our employees. This role plays a key part in ensuring our training materials are current, accessible, and aligned with company learning objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, editing, and formatting of various learning materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, job aids, quick reference guides, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across different departments to gather information, review content accuracy, and incorporate feedback
  • Support the instructional design process by assisting with content outlines, storyboarding, and multimedia integration
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on learning materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and accessibility standards
  • Coordinate with external vendors or internal teams for graphic design, video production, or other multimedia needs
  • Track and report on content usage and effectiveness metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Support the coordination of training delivery, including ongoing maintenance and upkeep of learning materials and logistics..
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging learning technologies and content creation best practices
  • Comply with all regulations and laws

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Learning & Development principles
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging training sessions for a variety of audiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills to assess learning needs and program effectiveness
  • High attention to detail, organization, and follow through
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with content management systems (CMS) or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory is a plus

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in content creation, content management, technical writing, or a similar role, preferably within a learning & development context
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) is a bonus

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Remote

Wage Range $30.00 to $33.00 hourly. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
