Performs repairs and maintenance in plant on machines and equipment. Conducts routine, periodic or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of machinery and equipment. Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Equipment support and repair: Under the instruction of the maintenance department perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing defective parts.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electromechanical issues on multi station robotic manufacturing equipment, cutting tables, vacuum tables, Appleton transporters, often using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Installation and assembly: Working with maintenance and engineering, assemble, install, and test new equipment and systems.
- Record keeping: Maintain logs in SAP, reports, and records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Safety and training: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and provide training or assistance to other staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Downtime: Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Inventory: Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Teamwork: Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Flexibly: Works efficiently in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows.

Friday-Sunday 5:00 pm - 5:30 a
Experience/Education/Skills
Qualifications/Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of various equipment systems, such as automated mechanical systems, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
- Basic maintenance and mechanical knowledge and aptitude with a good understanding of general manufacturing equipment.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a team setting.
- Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Working knowledge of industrial safe work practices.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow set schedules unsupervised.
- Composite industry experience is a plus.
- SAP working knowledge.
- Computer competency.
- Customer Focus.
