| Job Summary |
The International and Immigrant Program Coordinator is responsible for helping to recruit, advise and retain international and immigrant students, providing guidance to the campus and reviewing immigration documents. Develops, organizes, and delivers high quality events and programs to enhance and support students and the university community. Secondary duties include providing support for citizenship services including naturalization ceremonies and clinics and serving as a U.S. passport acceptance agent (including helping prepare and execute passport applications). May supervise student employees. This position currently ends on 8/31/2026; with the possibility of continuation. |
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing support to programs or projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Preferred Education and Experience |
- Related experience advising and programing for college students in academic settings.
- Experience working with people of different cultural backgrounds, experiences, and ages.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Fluency in Spanish

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Outreach and Collaboration: Collaborate internally and externally regarding outreach and recruitment programs, services and operations for international and immigrant students. Programming: Develop, organize and deliver high quality programs virtually and in person to prospective international and immigrant students and parents. Additionally, provide programming to campus units and stakeholders on how to support and integrate the needs of recruited students. Advising and Processing: Advise and refer prospective international and immigrant students on relevant application, admission, residency, immigration, student success and career resources. Update student records. Accept and process U.S. Passport applications, following U.S. Department of State guidelines.

Meet USCIS requirements for Designated School Official eligibility (must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the
DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
