Overview

Blue Yonder is seeking a transformational Sr. Director, Sales Operations Business Partner to lead and unify our Global Sales Operations partnership across Software Sales, Professional Services Sales, and Renewal Partners. Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, Global Sales Operations, this U.S.-based leader will serve as the strategic and operational anchor for Sales GMs, driving standardization, operational rigor, and insight-driven decision-making across all revenue motions.

This is a force-multiplier role - designing and optimizing the operating models that power predictable growth, strong margins, and world-class sales execution. You will elevate our business rhythms, sharpen our forecasting discipline, and partner deeply with the Sales Strategy & Transformation team to embed continuous improvement into every layer of the sales engine.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned operator and a trusted strategic advisor, with a proven record of scaling operations in complex organizations and influencing senior leaders across geographies.

Scope & Impact

This role will provide unified leadership for the complete Sales Operations Business Partner organization across Software Sales, Professional Services, and Renewals. This role will:

  • Drive global operational excellence, aligning teams, rhythms, and analytics across geographies and business units

  • Lead major cross-functional initiatives to improve forecasting, planning, and sales process maturity

  • Shape the operating backbone used consistently by Sales GMs, Services Sales leaders, and Renewal Partners worldwide

  • Serve as the connective tissue between Sales, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, IT, and the Sales Strategy & Transformation team

What You'll Do:

o Lead and evolve the Global Business Partner Organization

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of Sales Operations BPs spanning software, services, and renewals

  • Establish aunified operating modelthat creates clarity, consistency, and excellence across all revenue-supporting functions.

  • Define charters, priorities, service delivery expectations, and success measures for the BP organization

o Strategic Partnership & Executive Advisory

  • Serve as strategic advisor to GMs across all sales motions, providing insights that shape revenue, margin, and operational performance

  • Standardize and elevate forecasting, pipeline inspection, QBRs, business reviews, and planning rhythms across the global sales engine

  • Deliver clear, actionable insights that move leaders from information to impact

o Operational Excellence Across the Revenue Lifecycle

  • Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, segmentation, coverage modeling, and business planning for each revenue motion

  • Strengthen alignment with Services Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure cohesiveness across the end-to-end revenue engine

  • Drive reliable reporting, analytics, and KPI frameworks that fuel data-driven decision-making

o Continuous Improvement (in partnership with Sales Strategy & Transformation)

  • Co-lead transformation programs that modernize sales processes, systems, AI-assisted workflows, and GTM planning

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that simplify ways of working, improve efficiency, and unlock scalable growth

  • Embed a culture of operational discipline, agility, and insight-backed execution

What We're Looking For:

  • 12+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations within enterprise SaaS/software

  • 7+ years leading high-performing, global, cross-functional teams across multiple sales motions (Software, Professional Services, Renewals)

  • Deep expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, business planning, segmentation, and territory/quota design

  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations in complex, matrixed environments and influence executives across global organizations

  • Adept at influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT functions

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving skills - capable of turning data into direction

  • Strong program management and change management experience

  • Executive presence with highly polished communication skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and modern analytics/RevOps platforms

  • Strategic thinker with an execution-oriented mindset; able to dive into details without losing sight of the bigger picture

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team in a matrixed global environment

The annual salary range for this position is USD $170,000.00 - $220,000.00

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
