The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for ensuring comprehensive project management of Spacelabs' Operations Engineering projects to support Product Delivery. This is a role that will enhance the on-time delivery and quality of the Company's product, providing technical project management support.

***This hybrid position is located at Spacelabs Healthcare headquarters in Snoqualmie, Washington, with the expectation of onsite collaboration 3 or more days per week.***


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing, & Development Engineering professionals to ensure optimal project efficiency and execution to fulfill customer orders and remediate product technical challenges.
  • Creation of a comprehensive plan and implementation schedule to ensure project resourcing and execution is followed. Manage project scope and changes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide remote and on-site leadership for multiple project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities, and meeting project milestones.
  • Drive a smooth implementation to support Engineering Change Orders and stay engaged beyond project closure as needed to support product delivery.
  • Ensure that Spacelabs charges appropriately for expenses incurred during each project.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
  • Act as liaison and key contact for the planning, implementation, closing, and linking internal and external perspectives.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication as needed.
  • Ensure that the processes of the quality management system (QMS) are implemented and maintained.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge on Spacelabs Healthcare products, both hardware and software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical experience and education.
  • 5+ years' experience in a project management role (preferably in operations/ manufacturing).
  • Demonstrated success with managing multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills include the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Highly developed relationship-building skills and strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible, with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours when required, collaborating with a global workforce across multiple time zones: 25%
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Desirable:

  • PMP certification, or similar training.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Kaizen practices.
