What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
  • Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and general information as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities when required, following established protocols.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities for Allied Universal management and client review.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
  • At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
