CLA is currently seeking an Accounting Senior with experience, to join our CAAS (Professional Services Industry) group in our Century City, CA office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicates directly with clients in collaboration with managers and liaises with thirdparty advisors

  • Working knowledge of personal and corporate charts of accounts

  • Monitors daily client activity, handles requests, and conducts timely followups on outstanding matters

  • Reviews bank balances daily and facilitates funding with the client, as needed

  • Develops working knowledge of insurance coverages, retirement plans, and gift/estate planning concepts

  • Tracks commissionable income and prepares monthly commission reconciliations

  • Assists clients with applications and bank communications

  • Reviews daily and monthly bank reconciliations

  • Prepares monthly cashflow reports

  • Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities

  • Utilizes available tools to run desks efficiently (e.g., credit card allocation module, bill scheduler/repetitive, repository, and other tools as directed by managers)

  • Supervises, mentors, and manages Analysts and Associates

  • Identifies inefficiencies and implements changes (e.g., going paperless, electronic payments vs. live checks)

  • Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

* 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.

* Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The wage range for this position in California is: $80,000 -120,000.
