As a Security Guard - Media Facility Patrol in Overland Park, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with tenants and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Report and document any suspicious activity, security-related concerns, or incidents according to site protocols.
• Work closely with client staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or leaving the premises, as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
