Security Officer - Distribution Patrol

As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will include providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Identify and report any security-related concerns or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with site personnel and visitors to provide assistance and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding security-related protocols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
