As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Marina Del Rey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a premier commercial real estate location. Your focus will be on conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will interact with tenants, guests, and visitors, responding to security-related situations with professionalism and courtesy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, building, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report security-related incidents or hazards as encountered during patrols and/or assigned duties.
• Communicate with property management and/or Allied Universal as needed to address concerns or incidents on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
