This role involves deep backend engineering-optimizing distributed systems, ensuring low-latency performance, and enabling secure integrations. ResponsibilitiesArchitect, build, and optimize workflows to power various Microsoft M365 Copilot experiences and other next-generation Agent scenarios.Partners with Science, PM and Design counterparts to understand product requirements and latest trends in industry to drive architectural changes as required to improve scale, reliability and agility of the Product.Drive identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for the platform.Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following the playbook, and uphold high operational excellence.Proactively seek new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of the platform while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.Define success metrics and enhance success metrics based on platform / product evolution.Embody Microsoft's Culture and Values and help shape the direction of the engineering team and broader organization. | |
