Security Officer - Auto Patrol Unarmed

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Unarmed in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure atmosphere. You will remain highly visible, support access control efforts, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including areas such as parking lots, production facilities, and office spaces commonly found in automotive environments.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or potential threats within the location.
• Assist staff, visitors, and contractors by providing guidance and support in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
