We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time entry-level Customer Service Representative. This role is more than just your typical customer service position - it involves working closely with both large customers and corporate clients as a vital extension of their team. At PCA, we value the strong relationships we create and the exceptional service we provide. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our customers have a positive experience and achieve their goals through our services. You'll be responsible for:



Acting as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.


Providing accurate and timely information regarding orders, deliveries, and order statuses.


Processing customer orders and managing any changes or cancellations as needed.


Assisting customers in troubleshooting product-related issues and providing effective solutions.


Proactively identifying and addressing customer needs and challenges.


Building strong, lasting relationships with customers.


Working independently to resolve complex issues and find creative solutions.


Collaborating with the sales and production teams to ensure the continuous improvement of our customer experience.


Maintaining a thorough understanding of our product offerings to provide insightful recommendations to customers.


Maintaining organized customer files.


Efficiently managing customer inventory.


Assist others in the department as needed when time permits.


Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High school diploma or equivalent.


Recent two-year stable work history


One to three years stable work history in an administrative or customer service role.


A strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


A passion for customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.


A strong working knowledge of computer systems with experience in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.


The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.


Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.


Ability to adapt to changing priorities.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


College degree or some college courses.


Packaging and/or manufacturing customer service experience.


Experience handling customer orders on an order entry system and maintaining/building strong positive customer-business relationships


Knowledge of web-based computer systems and proficient in Excel.

Compensation and Benefits



  • Starting salary range for position: $44,800 - $56,000.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
