As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires carrying a firearm and involves driving as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with visitors and staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct scheduled and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by incident protocols.
• Remain alert to any unusual or suspicious activity and promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Provide guidance and support during emergency situations in alignment with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal training.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
