City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Provider Specialty Oncology Overview: Sentara RMH Hahn Oncology Center, located in beautiful Harrisonburg, Virginia, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing oncology team. This is a 100% outpatient position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality cancer care. Position Highlights * 100% outpatient oncology practice seeing approximately 12-15 patients per week * Join a collegial team of 7 physicians and 1 APP * Four clinical days onsite and one administrative day (flexible, excluding Fridays) * Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. schedule - last patient seen at 4:30 * No call and no weekends * Responsibilities include: Partnering with physicians to manage oncology treatment plans Evaluating patients receiving infusions Ordering medications, labs, and imaging as appropriate Providing education and support to patients and families throughout treatment * Oncology certification (AOCNP) preferred at hire or required within a defined timeframe after employment Benefits Highlights * Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Generous paid time off and CME support * Retirement plans with employer match * Supportive onboarding and training designed for long-term success * Collaborative team culture focused on patient-centered care and professional development Region/Location Details Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Harrisonburg offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty and vibrant community life.
