 We are seeking an Audit Compliance Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that inventory practices are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will conduct audits of inventory management processes, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively with various departments to enhance compliance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Audits: 
     Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Analyze audit results and develop reports outlining findings, trends, and recommendations for improvements. Compliance Monitoring: 
     Monitor inventory management processes to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards.Stay updated on changes in compliance regulations and industry best practices. Collaboration: 
     Work closely with inventory management, procurement, and finance teams to promote compliance awareness and best practices.Assist in the development of training programs for staff on compliance and inventory procedures. Data Analysis and Research: 
     Identify and Correct Inventory DiscrepanciesResearch of Material Movement to reconcile inventory balancesRoot cause analysisStatistical Sampling Documentation and Reporting: 
     Maintain accurate records of audits, compliance assessments, and corrective actions taken.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on compliance status and audit findings. Process Improvement: 
     Identify areas within inventory practices that require enhancements or updates to improve compliance.Recommend and implement process changes to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency. Qualifications
 
 Minimum Requirements: 
     Bachelor's degree3+ years of experience in areas within compliance and or auditing company polices, industry regulations, inventory management, and or operations regulationsDemonstrated knowledge of conducting inventory, cycle counting, and building formal reports.Demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, administrative and management methods, budgets, and other administrative areasExperience in using Excel and pivot tables to manage dataWillingness and ability to travel to perform property audits and conduct site visits when required. 50% travel between CT & RI sites. Travel to other site based on business needs.Ability to work in a variety of settings and conditions including but not limited to: indoor and outdoor environments including office settings, and manufacturing areas. Preferred Requirements: 
     Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Investigative Services, History or a related field.Experience in inventory management, auditing, or compliance preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MRPII, Oracle, or other inventory management software.Skills
