The Senior Marketing Technologist (Sr. MT) role within the Engines and Experiences Martech team is essential for the implementation and management of our marketing technology stack. This role is responsible for designing and consulting on technical solutions and eliminating technical redundancies. It ensures that new technical implementations are executed efficiently and comply with organizational standards and patterns. This role serves as the single point of accountability for end-to-end technical implementations, synthesizing inputs from various functional and engineering teams into a cohesive digital architecture. Sr. MTs are experts in Adobe cloud marketing platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEP), Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP), and Adobe Marketo Engage. They focus on ensuring the Adobe platforms and database function as expected, meet business compliance requirements, and follow industry best practices. This ensures the platform can deliver multi-channel solutions to recipients and allows for the mitigation and/or triage of any activities impeding system performance. This technical role requires an understanding of AEP, RTCDP, and Marketo and its related and integrated systems, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of email deliverability, privacy and compliance regulations, and data hygiene best practices. Sr. MTs are also collaborators: nearly all projects involve multiple teams, including Marketing Operations, Marketing Engineering, Lead Management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Privacy, and more. Sr. MTs are often consulted due to their broad and in-depth understanding of the different systems connected to the Adobe platforms. They independently manage their work at a project level and participate directly in larger initiatives that impact the health of the overall Martech ecosystem. ResponsibilitiesArchitects and builds templates within Adobe Marketo Engage and Adobe Express to empower our Marketing teams to build brand-compliant scalable email activationsManages stakeholder relationships as the primary technical contact for Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Realtime Customer Data Platform, and Adobe Marketo Engage, ensuring technology solutions meet business needsCollaborates with marketing technology foundational teams to align with goals, standards, and updates in tools or processesOwns the review and refinement of solutions with project managers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational policiesCollaborates with engineering teams to ensure jointly developed solutions will be successful and impactfulDesigns and builds database hygiene workflows and logic within Adobe Marketo Engage to ensure platform health is at the optimal level to meet marketing KPIsResponsible for adhering to key build standards and patterns in system architecture and data management, ensuring consistent and high-quality implementationsOversees platform operations delivery, resolving technical issues, and providing regular status updates to stakeholdersUnderstands all integrated systems from a technical standpoint and can troubleshoot issues that may have root cause in any of the many interconnected platformsHandles any privacy triage including issue validation, resolution, remediation, and mitigationFosters a collaborative environment, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and cross-team knowledge sharingCommunicates technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders and leadership, building consensusEmbody our culture and values
