Production Manager

Staffmark is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing team. This direct-hire opportunity offers $80,000-$90,000 per year.

Shift: Primarily day shift with flexibility to check in on other shifts as needed

The Production Manager ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality production while maximizing profitability. You'll lead supervisors and operators, drive continuous improvement, and develop a people-first culture across the production team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead production teams to meet efficiency, quality, and safety goals
• Manage front-line supervisors and operators; provide coaching and performance feedback
• Oversee production scheduling and workflow, troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices
• Support recruitment, training, and development of employees
• Conduct quality spot checks and address root causes of defects
• Collaborate across departments and communicate updates to peers and leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and organizational policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years managing teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and motivate employees
• Physically able to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs
