We are currently seeking an Advanced Color & Materials Senior Creative Designer with a variety of background and experience levels to work in our Design Studio. This position is responsible for supporting production exterior & Interior color and trim corporate strategies with regards to automotive color and material initiatives that include new innovation, new technologies, new designs, cost, complexity, feasibility, and material changes.

The Senior Creative Designer will lead new research, development, color development and harmony for production. They will establish and support working relationships for material developments and color development with studio designers, purchasing, materials engineering, program teams, manufacturing and required suppliers. Self-manage and lead daily meetings and reviews with internal/external design teams for specific Bran programs to ensure that deliverables are met for color development and completion. They will work with the supply base to ensure that the color and material design direction is implemented by communicating intent and tracking the progress of changes or open issues. Maintain all supporting documentation for commodities responsible for distribution and reporting out on material status.

The candidate will review vehicles with supporting Stellantis teams for color and material accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for advanced research, technology development and innovative solutions to nurture ideas into feasible production ready solutions while analyzing the competitive landscape, complexity reduction reporting & maintenance, emerging trends and sustainability initiatives. Basic Qualifications:



  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in CMF Design, Textile specific Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Marketing or related field of study
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in CMF as a Designer for Brand Programs
  • Experience to include Design and development of materials and colors for automotive application or related field of study
  • Knowledge and experience in color development, color harmony & manufacturing
  • Knowledge of paint technologies, material testing, constructions, and exterior harmony
  • Must pass the Munsell or Colorcurve HVC color vision test.
