ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Product Manager - AI Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of AI products and solutions within Cencora. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver innovative AI-enabled tools that meet business needs. In this role, you will lead product discovery, define and document requirements, manage product development cycles with internal and external vendor resources, engage with stakeholders and users to elicit and document requirements, and oversee and/or execute on testing and support. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of and passion for AI technology, particularly its application in enterprise environments to drive impactful business outcomes. This position requires an experienced product manager who can work independently with support from the Director - AI Product Lead and the broader AI Platforms & Solutions team. This role resides within our Global Data and Technology Services organization (GDATS) and will report to the Director of AI Products within the broader Data, Analytics and AI domain at Cencora.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, Cencora's AI Platforms & Solutions team, and the broader IT organization to deliver impactful AI solutions.

  • Product Discovery & Research:Conduct research/analysis and gather insights to identify and prioritize high-value use cases for AI-enabled tools.

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:Collaborate with the team to define product goals, align with business priorities, and ensure product roadmaps reflect stakeholder needs and team capacity.

  • Requirements Definition:Develop detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), write user stories, and create functional specifications to guide the development of AI-driven business solutions.

  • Testing & Validation:Oversee the creation of test plans, perform system integration testing, validate test results, and address any issues during testing phases.

  • User Engagement:Work closely with end users to optimize product adoption, provide training, and offer support for prompt engineering and tool usage.

  • Problem Solving:Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and prioritize enhancements. Investigate issues and develop actionable recommendations for resolution.

  • Team Collaboration:Meet regularly with development teams to gather status updates, identify obstacles, and take ownership of clearing blockers.

  • Technology Alignment:Ensure product solutions align with business needs and the responsible use of AI, leveraging a deep understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.

  • Knowledge Sharing:Coach and mentor less experienced team members, sharing best practices and knowledge of AI technology and product management processes.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant product management or enterprise software engineering experience.

  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on business applications and AI

  • Familiarity with general business operations and the ability to translate business needs into actionable product strategies.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant technical or business work experience.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an interest in experimenting and testing/pushing the limits of AI in enterprise settings.

  • Functional understanding of how AI language models work, how software tools make use of APIs, etc.

  • Capable of complex prompt/context engineering to guide AI agents

In collaboration with the Director, AI Products and broader AI Platforms & Solutions team, this role focuses on building relationships with stakeholders across the business, understanding their current use of or need for LLM-enabled tools and agents, and creating new solutions and capabilities to meet their needs. By leveraging knowledge of the latest AI implementation patterns and industry trends in enterprise AI application, and focsing on Cencora business value drivers... this role will help drive efficiencies at Cencora by using AI in cutting edge ways.

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
