SPA's Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office. Responsibilities We are seeking a smart, energetic, and dedicated student actively pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree in Engineering to work alongside the SPA team in support of PEO IWS 2.0 programs. The successful intern will quickly learn and contribute to tasks, projects, and discussions with opportunities to support exciting radar, electronic warfare, and electro-optic/infrared programs. The IWSG office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard. Salary range: $23-$31 per hour.
