| Posting Summary |
Candidates will collaborate with the Professional Science Master's Program, Professional Education department, to deliver timely, advanced topics in scientific fields for professional scientists and non-credit learners seeking continuing professional education. This work supports non-credit online offerings that align with current developments across science and business industries, and with the growing demand for flexible, fully online learning experiences.
This role is focused on creating high-quality online curriculum and participating in recorded curriculum presentations. Experts will either develop new content or update existing modules to ensure relevance to emerging technologies, industry practices, and workforce needs.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate core expertise in at least one scientific or business discipline, including but not limited to:
- Agriculture and food systems
- Biotechnology and bio/pharmaceutical sciences
- Environmental sciences and sustainability
- Food science and nutrition
- Life sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, etc.)
- Engineering disciplines (biomedical, biochemical, chemical, electrical, computer, pharmaceutical, etc.)
- Pharmacology and pharmaceutical development
- Computer and information sciences (statistics and biostatistics, data science, applied computing, IT, networking, etc.)
- Business functions supporting science industries (leadership, regulatory affairs, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Research current curricula and professional practice standards to identify materials, resources, and innovations for integration into short non-credit learning modules.
- Design and develop online instructional materials that are engaging and well-structured for science professionals and continuing education learners.
- Prepare and record online video presentations (length and scheduling may vary depending on course format).
- Ensure content aligns with industry expectations and supports multiple learning models (self-paced, instructor-facilitated, and short-format non-credit courses).

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Master's degree in a related field and/or relevant industry experience is required; doctorate degrees are preferred. Prior teaching experience at the graduate level preferred. |
