Job Summary

Core responsibility is to support the customer by providing information, support, and conflict resolution to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Working with the Monterrey factory to implement corrective and preventative action.

Educate & train the quality team on the product and process in Corrective and Preventative Action.

Job Description

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage customer complaints and major quality problems, with a pathway to migrate this to be managed by the local team (over the term of the assignment).
  • Facilitate RCCM problem solving (like A3 and 8D) integration into the factory/supply chain ensuring that the organisation is driving to implement corrective actions.
  • Support implementation of Advance Product Quality Planning (e.g. PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan) - This should be done by product and or process in a systematic way allowing all team buy in to a new process.
  • Identify and coordinate continuous improvement activities.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • An effective communicator
  • Have a good command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to interpret complex data to identify trends and root causes
  • Completes tasks paying attention to the smallest details
  • Use of Microsoft office suite is a basic requirement

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Relevant Engineering HNC or degree (or significant experience)

Desirable

  • Relevant customer service management
  • Ability to communicate at all levels is a definite advantage

Experience

  • Nidec Drive, especially KB product knowledge is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a technical basis
  • Ability to deal with disappointed customers and resolve their issues and regain confidence is essential
