Job Description

As a Structural Engineering Intern at Coffman Engineers, you'll be part of a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team that believes in making a difference for our clients and our communities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing design calculations and project documentation for active projects.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas to innovative solutions.
  • Support the development of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support engineering decisions.

Learning & Development:

  • Receive mentorship and feedback from senior engineers.
  • Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools).
  • Exposure to real-world engineering challenges and best practices.
  • Opportunities to learn about multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications
  • Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college
  • Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Computer-Aided Drafting is a plus

Expected Salary range: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
