Join Our Team as a Sales Manager - Surface Mining & Ore Body Solutions at Epiroc!

As a Sales Manager at Epiroc USA, you will lead a high-performing sales team focused on managing and growing relationships with our customers in the mining and construction industries. Your team will provide and deliver reliable solutions such as Surface Mining drills, Automation and Digitization technologies, and the consumables, parts, and services that support them to help customers improve their operations. You will collaborate closely with your team to align customer objectives with Epiroc's portfolio of products and services, while driving the company's transformation toward automation, battery, and data-driven solutions. In this role, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on engagement by coaching your team, managing key accounts, and ensuring safety remains a top priority positioning Epiroc as the customer's first choice.

The work environment is dynamic, ranging from traditional office settings to on-site locations at mining sites, including rugged and remote environments in some of the most beautiful and pristine areas of the world. Employees may be exposed regularly to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. The position is considered Safety Sensitive.

Work Type:

Remote with 70% to 80% travel

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve market share, profitability, and revenue growth targets in the Surface Mining and Ore Body Solutions segments.
  • Guide your team to build trusted relationships with key customers by aligning their goals and objectives with Epiroc's complete portfolio of products, services, and technologies.
  • Support digital sales transformation by implementing processes and systems that improve efficiency and effectiveness with our Go-To-Market (GTM) work.
  • Collaborate with business line managers, product specialists, and other leaders to support and refine Epiroc USA's GTM strategy.
  • Coach your team to understand customer needs and deliver solutions using proven sales best practices.
  • Oversee your team in maintaining accurate and detailed product forecasts, collaborating with key accounts to ensure proper inventory and service levels.
  • Lead your team to prepare and deliver product and service proposals that effectively support Epiroc's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage, develop, and mentor direct reports across the full employee lifecycle, promoting accountability and a results-focused culture.



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the U.S. mining or construction industries, preferably with a strong background in direct sales or product management.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams to exceed performance goals and expand their professional development.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen, capable of translating long-term goals into actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to build trust, influence others, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels and customer groups.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) complemented by advanced communication and presentation skills, with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the U.S., with occasional international travel as needed.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $180,000 - $220,00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is alsovariable compensation eligible. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.
