Please contact Meghan Allen in HR @ 1-888-240-3636 General Summary: We're looking for a dependable and experienced Receiving Team Lead to help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll work alongside the receiving crew to unload shipments, inspect materials, and organize inventory. This is a safety sensitive position. Job Duties: Unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently using forklift and other MHE. Check deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy. Inspect goods for damage, and report discrepancies. Sort and stage incoming materials for proper storage. Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS). Assist in training new team members on receiving procedures and best practices. Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse. Cross train with other departments as directed by supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Education and Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of warehouse, sit down forklift and other MHE. Knowledge of spelling, grammar, and basic arithmetic. Work Environment: Warehouse work requires standing and walking on a concrete floor over 90% of the workday. If operating MHE, getting on and off the equipment will be necessary throughout the workday. Office areas are heated and air-conditioned. However, overall conditions and temperatures will reflect local weather conditions. Warehouses are not heated or air-conditioned. Warehouse conditions may be dusty. Must be capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching regularly. Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively for short periods. Ability to work flexible hour schedule including extended hours as required. Able to begin work at the start of the designated shift. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends. Weekend hours include opening and closing the building on scheduled Saturday shifts. What is R.E Michel Company? The R.E.
