Sr Network Architect Engineer
The ISP Data Services team is seeking a Senior Network Architect Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure within our data centers. This role will support mission-critical infrastructure and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability. What you'll do: * Drive large technical projects from inception to completion. * Continuously analyzes user need, technical fit, and cost effectiveness of projects to identify ideal prioritization and feasibility of work. * Create technical requirements for solutions based on internal and cross-organizational collaboration and feedback. * Architect and implement advanced network solutions to support data center operations, including routing, switching, load balancing and firewall configurations. * Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues and guide internal or cross-organizational teams in resolution strategies. * Develop and maintain documentation for network architecture, standards and procedures * Keep stakeholders informed and engaged through frequent communication of project status and effective implementation of their feedback. * Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on improvements to enhance performance, reliability and scalability of the data center networks. * Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards across all network deployments * Participate in capacity, planning disaster recovery design and business continuity strategies * Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers. * Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth for yourself, stakeholder teams and the company. What you'll need: Required * 5+ years of experience in network architecture or engineering within data center environments * Expertise in enterprise networking technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN) * Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5 or similar platforms * Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including cabling, power, and cooling systems. * Experience with network monitoring and management tools * Strong technical writing and presentation skills Preferred * Networking certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. * Familiarity with automation tools and scripting. * Knowledge of cloud networking infrastructure models.
