Project BIM Manager

Job Description:

Ryan Companies is seeking a Project BIM Manager to join our dynamic and growing Architecture + Engineering (A+E) team in Minnesota! This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices that enhance project delivery, design efficiency, and collaboration across disciplines. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of design technology with strong communication and process improvement skills.

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant professional experience working in an architectural firm, architectural technology firm, or engineering firm, including experience with the design and delivery process. Advanced knowledge of Autodesk and Revit is required. You also need a strong knowledge of Sketchup, Navisworks, and Bluebeam with an interest in working with design technology and understanding of application development, scripting, and workflow automation. BIM knowledge is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

Some things you can expect to do:

* Assist project teams in Building Information Modeling (BIM)

* Assist with ongoing development of Revit project template and family libraries.

* Perform tasks with a high level of collaboration with internal and external team members and set an example for others to follow

* Provide technical guidance on advanced technology and design requirements.

* Lead and provide guidance on Project BIM Execution plans.

* Actively participate in team meetings, department meetings and quarterly owner meetings

* Conduct Revit model quality reviews with project teams.

* Identify and communicate deviations in defined requirements of project scope and execution.

* Research and evaluate current and emerging digital technologies

* Assist in management of design software licenses, and subscriptions

* Assist in development, implementation, training, and maintenance of company standards, templates and content

* Research and foster peer relationships within greater BIM and Design Technology communities.

* Advance team direction and goals for the development and evolution of consistent technology, tools and processes to support projects through all phases of design and construction. Communicate these newly defined technologies and processes across sectors and regions

* Professional Architecture or Engineering degree.

* 4+ years of relevant experience.

* Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The annual base pay is $81,600 - $102,000/Annually. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
