ROLL HANDLER (CLAMP FORLIFT) (GOLDEN VALLEY, MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that the product is moved from the truck/railcar to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform lockout/tag out procedures on trailers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
• Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Maintain a zero-damage roll room at all times.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Successful candidate must be willing to work ANY shift.
• Certified industrial forklift driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.
• 6 months Clamp forklift operator experience.
• Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift, maintain and perform daily safety inspections in regard to the clamp truck, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform lockout/tag-out procedures on trailers.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary for position: 26.97 per hour.
• Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid Vacation: up to 48 hours. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
• 11 Paid Holidays.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
