JOB TITLE: Field Marketing Manager REPORTS TO: National Brand Director, Beverage Division LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (Torrance, CA) This position is based in Los Angeles and will cover greater LA, Inland Empire, and Orange County areas. The role will also provide periodic support for the San Diego area. JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for developing and leading the strategic planning and execution of all field marketing initiatives within the local metro area or region. Oversees a team of Brand Ambassadors, ensuring high-quality execution across marketing platforms to strengthen brand affinity, drive market leadership, and positively influence regional sales goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identify and translate consumer insights and trends to build strategies that ensure continued brand
- differentiation and short and long term consumer impact via field marketing platforms
- Recruit, on-board, coach and lead a high-performing team of Brand Ambassadors to drive trial, increase brand awareness, and build brand loyalty that translates into sales
- Plan, budget, execute, and measure the effectiveness of field marketing initiatives across channels including community events, collegiate programs, retail activations, and trade shows
- Proactively create and implement local &/or regional field marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing strategies and regional sales objectives
- Strategically plan and leverage marketing resources across the full marketing mix including: Digital/Social Media, Collegiate Marketing, Events, Local Influencers, and Sampling/Seeding programs
- Develop and maintain cohesive partnerships with the sales organization to meet sales and brand objectives, ensure efficiency in sales and marketing integration, and maximize the brand's impact on the consumer
- Budget management: Develop and manage field marketing budgets, allocating funds effectively across different local market campaigns, initiatives and marketing mix
- Metrics and reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of field marketing campaigns, including lead generation, customer engagement, and ROI, to inform future strategies. Manage budget, expenses, and administrative responsibilities for the role and direct reports. Develop and distribute regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) field marketing reports as needed, while overseeing sampling and collegiate marketing updates
- Local market analysis: Understand local market dynamics, customer demographics, and competitor landscape to proactively tailor marketing strategies accordingly
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including retailers, distributors, and community partners to facilitate execution of successful field marketing initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma required; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5+ years experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate marketing teams
- Project management skills to executive complex marketing initiatives on time and within budget
- Analytical skills to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to proactively to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and training ability
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must live within the defined geography for the region
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age

1. Compensation Field Marketing Manager is an exempt, salaried position. Salary offered is based on relevant experience at the time of hire. General range of starting salary is $60,000 - $80,000. 2. Bonus Field Marketing Manager's may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. 3. Employment Benefits Kowa offers a wide variety of benefits to all employees.
