Program Analyst III

***This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance to be considered. ***

The Program Analyst III is responsible for supporting Diplomatic Security at an executive level; requiring a high degree of administrative expertise; and participation in briefings and meetings. Frequently provide subject matter or functional area expertise in performing administrative tasks.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Analyst III:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Program Analyst III Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops, recommends, and provides interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Maintains executive's schedule.
  • Assists in editing/preparing responses to DSS taskers.
  • Makes travel preparations.
  • Passport and visa processing.
  • Establishes and maintains liaison and serving as the focal point for the coordination and communication with appropriate offices, overseas posts, and interested foreign affairs and intelligence agencies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Program Analyst III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Master's degree (preferred), or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
  • More than 10 years' experience serving as an analyst in planning, developing, coordinating, and conducting analyses for overall operational efficiencies/inefficiencies, program-related trends, effectiveness in achieving planned goals, objectives, and milestones, and effective budgetary/resource utilization.
  • Two years as a Program Analyst II or equivalent experience.
  • Experience identifying complex cross cutting areas of program requirements and needs in order to address significant organizational concerns.
  • Able to provide advice and preparing and presenting controversial reports on the program's status to senior management officials.
  • Skilled at applying various laws, regulations, policies and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources.
  • Knowledgeable in conducting detailed analyses of functions and work processes; and presenting recommendations for improvements and corrective action.
  • Must be proficient in current Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint programs.
  • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a minimum a SECRET clearance; (higher clearance may be required depending on position to be filled).
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
