What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations that may arise at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address any potential issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate and cooperate with site staff, visitors, and local emergency responders as required to address security-related matters.
• Remain alert and observant while performing patrols to help to deter unwanted behavior and/or security-related risks.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
