DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will provide clerical and administrative support to the Real Estate Division and to the personnel in other Divisions within the Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management as needed. Your work in this role will involve using a computer with Microsoft Office software and office equipment as well as using SAP software in procurement, travel, budget, and reporting tasks. This includes maintaining an organized filing system, preparing and processing mail items, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member for response. Our team will rely on you to proofread and prepare all correspondence for the Real Estate Division Chief's signature, arrange travel details for division personnel, monitor the division budget and provide status reports, and collate reports from all sections within the division to help ensure that management personnel have the information they need to make informed decisions. This includes keeping record of all land and buildings acquired and completing other tasks to keep our office organized effectively. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Telework is not permitted during the initial six-month probationary period; eligibility may be granted upon its successful completion. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
