WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Regional Executive Coordinator serves as a key strategic partner to the Regional CEO and the Regional Leadership Team, helping drive focus, alignment, and results across all areas of the American Red Cross mission in Missouri and Arkansas. As a full member of the Regional Leadership Team, this role supports the region's leadership in advancing priorities that strengthen communities, improve coordination, and ensure operational excellence. From managing executive-level projects to organizing meetings, plans, and follow-through, the Regional Executive Coordinator plays an essential role in keeping the team connected, informed, and moving forward with purpose.

More than an administrative position, this is a leadership support role that blends organization, communication, and initiative. The Regional Executive Coordinator helps turn plans into action, translating strategy into clear priorities, managing key deliverables, and creating the systems that keep one of the nation's most active Red Cross regions running smoothly. It's a role for someone who thrives on collaboration, values details and precision, and is inspired by helping humanitarian leaders and the American Red Cross make an even greater impact.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

Lead with Excellence in Administration

Serve as strategic and administrative support to the Regional CEO, managing complex administrative priorities with professionalism, precision, and confidentiality. Prepare high-impact materials, correspondence, and reports that drive effective decision-making and smooth regional operations across the Missouri-Arkansas Region. Ensure all communications and documents align with the mission and standards of the American Red Cross.

Drive Collaboration Across the Regional Leadership Team

Serve as a strategic and thought partner to the Regional CEO and Regional Leadership Team, helping organize and advance regional plans and priorities that drive community outcomes and regional impact. Coordinate leadership meetings, create and track action plans, and ensure seamless follow-up that supports alignment across departments and chapters. Support the Regional CEO in aligning people, plans, and performance to achieve regional goals.

Craft and Elevate Communications

Create, edit, and refine written materials, presentations, and reports that inform, inspire, and align the team. Use advanced tools and systems to produce polished communications and executive deliverables that support strategic clarity and strong organizational culture.

Deliver Insight through Data and Reporting

Transform information into insight. Collect, analyze, and present data through clear reports, timelines, and visualizations that highlight progress, outcomes, and opportunities across the region. Ensure leadership has the tools and context needed to measure impact and advance mission-driven goals.

Manage and Advance Key Projects

Take ownership of special projects that strengthen regional effectiveness, collaboration and outcomes. Coordinate logistics, track deliverables, and ensure milestones are met. Represent the Regional CEO's office on cross-functional initiatives that move the mission forward and enhance operational excellence.

Support and Guide Team Operations

Provide leadership support to administrative and volunteer staff, modeling professionalism, collaboration, and accountability. Foster a culture of teamwork where every member of the regional team feels supported and equipped to deliver meaningful results.

Champion Volunteer Engagement

Actively support, develop, and guide volunteers to support your role, ensuring they are equipped and appreciated for their vital role in carrying out the Red Cross mission. Partner with regional leaders to create meaningful and sustainable volunteer experiences that extend the organization's reach and impact.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Qualifications:
Education: High School or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in personal computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient typing skills required. Knowledge of project management tools and data visualization tools like Power BI preferred. Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures that relate to operations within assigned organizational unit is preferred. Ability to prepare and edit complex documents is preferred. Ability to work on a team.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
