We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to join our US Shared Services team and support the continued growth and excellence of Endress+Hauser. This role plays a key part in ensuring our employees receive the best possible benefits experience, contributing to our culture of care and well-being.

If so, this role is for you. As a Benefits Specialist, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, ensuring our benefits programs run smoothly and compliantly. You'll collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and employees across the organization to deliver exceptional service and support. This role is part of our Shared Services HR function supporting multiple US entities.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Participate in the 401(k) Administration Committee and Benefits Team.
  • Plan and execute the annual open enrollment process and facilitate benefits onboarding for new hires.
  • Manage wellness program compliance and coordinate with payroll for related adjustments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for benefits vendors and monitor service performance.
  • Act as a back-up for leave of absence administration.
  • Support audits such as 401(k) and Worker's Compensation in coordination with Payroll.
  • Administer compliance mailings (e.g., Medicare Part D, PCORI) and track COBRA enrollments.
  • Prepare and process invoices for select benefit lines and reconcile benefits accounts.
  • Manage and maintain the benefits platform (e.g., PlanSource) and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
  • Oversee the administration of employee health plans and programs, including enrollment, changes, and communications.

What do we expect from you?

  • Preferred certifications: CEBS, SHRM-CP, or PHR.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Are proficient with benefits platforms (e.g., PlanSource) and payroll systems.
  • Possess strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance (California experience preferred).
  • Have 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR operations.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
