Closing Date: 11/10/25 or upon receipt of the first 50 applicant submissions Clerical Specialist - Sheriffs Full-time, Hourly Hourly Range: $16.70 - $25.05 Scheduling: These open positions will work on 2nd shift from 2:30pm - 10:30pm and 3rd shift from 10:3pm - 6:30am including weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime as required Job Summary: Clerical Specialist staff are responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining booking packet, mail, court, and warrant records. Interact with court staff, court officers, law enforcement personnel, and address inquiries from the public. Staff are responsible for collecting monies owed for bond payments and other law enforcement agencies as well as registering and monitoring onsite personal video visiting. Job Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of office/customer service principles, methods, and practices; oral and written communication skills; analytical skills, basic math skills, skill in data entry and in using a personal computer. Plan and work independently in a fast-paced environment; ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others. Ability to make sound decisions according to the policy and procedures of the department without necessity for the continued intervention by a supervisor. Ability to proficiently answer incoming calls and provide accurate information without providing legal advice or insertion of personal opinions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 15 lbs.
