As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the premises. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. You will play an important role in monitoring for unusual activity, responding to alarms, and supporting access control measures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help protect property and personnel at the location.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and team members to uphold a professional environment.
• Document security-related incidents and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Remain alert to changing conditions and report irregularities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience, access control or badge experience, a valid guard card or license, and current CPR certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
