As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrols in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for shoppers, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at retail or mall locations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as part of patrol duties.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards found during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
