Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Mobile, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for everyone. You will regularly circulate throughout the property, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings and/or incidents to the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials when necessary.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and first responders during routine activities and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the site assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Security Professional Guard Card and/or license is preferred depending on state and/or local requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
