As a Security Professional - Utilities Entry Driver in New Albany, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will play a key role in managing access, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service in a professional environment. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to inquiries or incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies for a utilities location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Assist in controlling entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential disruptions.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols for the utilities location.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
