Job Description




As a Security Guard Patrol Driver - Government in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible within a government location. You will respond to various situations professionally, provide exceptional customer service, and uphold our company's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you support the overall security-related needs of the site while representing Allied Universal's caring and agile culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Maintain a visible presence around the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management, adapting to the specific needs of the government environment.
  • Assist with access control and/or visitor management as assigned, ensuring adherence to site procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
