Mercy Clinic Primary Care - North Walton Blvd Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Up to $2,500 hiring incentive available to qualifying candidates! Accepting applications for Medical Assistant, EMT/Paramedic, or LPN/RN This position is a dual-role position, supporting the management of front desk operations and workflows, and working alongside the lab support technician to perform blood draws, process labs, and perform point of care testing.

Overview:
- Performs acquisition, labeling, transfer, and referral of all required types of specimens for laboratory testing: utilizing accurate, effective, professional, and confidential accepted methodologies as required
- Assists with processing of specimens and reports in laboratory specialty areas as required.
- Resolves billing issues as required.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
Excellent customer service skills are essential for interacting with patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Be empathetic, patient-focused, and able to handle inquiries and concerns with tact and diplomacy. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this role, particularly when entering patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure. Demonstrating discretion and maintaining patient privacy is paramount in this role. Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure. Performs other duties as required

- Complies with all safety regulations and requirements (i.e. chemical hygiene plan, exposure control plan, blood borne pathogens)
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
- Certified Medical Assistant:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is also accepted. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
LPN/RN Qualifications: Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing or Registered Nurse Licensure: Active LPN or RN What Makes You a Good Match for Mercy?
