In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.

You will be assisting with personnel assignments and training, and coordination of patient scheduling and delivery of patient care in the Integrated Clinic (Radiation Oncology/Integrated Clinic and Breast Center); providing directions and assistance to clinic staff while promoting quality and cost-effective patient care, including patient assessment, treatment, education and coordination. In this role you will also be providing coverage for clinical services related to radiation therapy, brachytherapy, and independent prioritization of patient care activities for the Westwood and Santa Monica clinics as assigned.

Salary Range: $67.02 - $101.40 Hourly

Qualifications

  • BSN or MSN - required
  • Current California RN license - required
  • ACLS, BCLS and PALS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association - required
  • Previous Pre OP, OR, PACU or Procedures related experience - strongly desired
  • At least 2 years of oncology experience - preferred
  • At least 2 years of recent med/surg experience - preferred
  • Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
  • Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff

  • Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
