Hybrid Role: This role is hybrid, with an established schedule of in-person work required at an assigned work location. Any remote work is expected to be performed from an employee's primary residence, unless allowed (or prohibited) through the Company's remote work guidelines. Emergency Response: Yes - Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE's emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers. Job Summary This is a Temporary Employee role at the entry level that will be responsible for tasks and projects across any of the enterprise's business units within the Gas, Electric and LLC companies. This role will support Federal State & Local tax. May receive on-the-job training relevant to assigned department and business unit. Tasks and assignments work will focus on one or more of the following: Federal State & local Tax. Key Accountabilities Become oriented in the basics of the business unit and company Communicate through basic presentational and report writing skills Develop, revise and maintain Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations Collaborate through basic problem-solving skills as they relate to the industry Work with different team members and groups Work safely and adhere to all safety programs (Insert further BU specific accountabilities, if needed) Minimum Education & Experience Requirements HS Diploma or GED equivalent and a mnimum of 6 months of experience related to Property tax and sales/use tax Other Qualifications Preferred: Associates or bachelor's degree in (Insert discipline related to Business Unit/department/role) Experience in utility industr Experience with property tax and sales/use tax. At least 1+ year of experience with property tax and sales tax. Other Requirements Proficient communication and interpersonal skills Proficient verbal, nonverbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to organize work independently and to work in teams.
