Sector VP, Revenue for North America would oversee all sales activities and work in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success, to drive business growth and profitability. This role involves developing and implementing revenue strategies, leveraging SaaS-centric models, forecasting and budgeting, and managing the revenue-generating teams to achieve business goals. The VP, Revenue, North America would also build relationships with key stakeholders and partners to enhance Transportation and Logistics' (T&L) market position as a leader in AI-powered solutions. As the VP, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing revenue generation strategies, driving business growth, and maximizing profitability through a focus on recurring revenue and technological innovation. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in revenue management and a deep understanding of the SaaS business model and the application of Artificial Intelligence in the technology industry.

What you will do:

  • Develop Revenue Generation - Strategies Create and execute comprehensive revenue generation strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives, ensuring consistent SaaS revenue growth (ARR/MRR), high customer retention, and maximizing expansion revenue opportunities. This includes integrating new AI-powered product offerings into the go-to-market plan.

  • Sales Leadership - Lead the sales team, setting clear goals and objectives, and providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance. Establish sales territories, compensation plans, and targets aligned with key SaaS performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand the company's market reach and revenue streams, with a specific focus on scaling the adoption of SaaS and new AI agent products. Foster relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers to drive growth.

  • Marketing Collaboration - Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns, SaaS product positioning strategies, and demand generation initiatives to drive revenue growth and increase market share.

  • Revenue Forecasting and Reporting - Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasting models, providing regular reports and analysis to the executive team. This includes forecasting for a subscription-based model and leveraging AI/machine learning tools for advanced predictive analysis. Identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities to guide decision-making.

  • Sales Process Optimization - Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across the SaaS customer lifecycle. Implement and leverage CRM, sales enablement, and AI-powered sales tools to drive productivity, enhance lead scoring, and provide visibility across the sales organization.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with other departments, including product management, finance, customer experience and marketing, to align strategies and drive coordinated efforts towards revenue goals, particularly in accelerating the company's transition to a full SaaS model.

  • Industry Knowledge - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, especially regarding the SaaS business model and the practical application of Artificial Intelligence in sales, operations, and transportation logistics, to identify new revenue opportunities and anticipate market shifts.

  • Leadership and Team Development - Build and lead a high-performing revenue team (including global sales, sales operations and customer success), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to nurture talent and promote career growth in the areas of SaaS sales and AI-driven revenue generation.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven track record in revenue management, business development, or sales leadership roles, preferably within the SAAS industry.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable revenue growth plans.

  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

  • In-depth understanding of sales and marketing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.

  • Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for new products or solutions.

  • Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and revenue forecasting models.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
